Privacy Policy
Stay Citable ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use staycitable.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data.
1. What we collect
We collect only the information necessary to respond to your inquiries and operate the site:
- Contact form submissions: the name, work email, website URL, company size, and challenge description you provide via our citation audit request form.
- Email correspondence: if you email us at hello@staycitable.com, we retain the message and your email address.
- Aggregate usage analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics collects privacy-preserving, cookieless metrics (page views, referrers, country, device type) using a beacon. No personal identifiers are collected and no cookies are set.
- Server logs: our hosting provider may log IP addresses and request data for security and abuse-prevention purposes, retained for a short period.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or third-party marketing trackers.
2. How we use it
- To deliver the free citation audit you requested.
- To respond to questions you send us.
- To improve the site (aggregate analytics only).
- To send follow-up emails directly related to an audit or engagement you initiated. We do not send unsolicited marketing.
3. Third-party services we use
- Formspree processes contact form submissions on our behalf. See Formspree's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare provides hosting, CDN, and privacy-preserving analytics. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on this site. Font files are requested from Google's servers and are subject to Google's privacy policy.
4. Data retention
Contact form submissions and email correspondence are retained for as long as necessary to provide services you requested, comply with our legal obligations, and for legitimate business records. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 6).
5. International transfers
We operate from the United States and our service providers may process data in the United States and other jurisdictions. By submitting information through this site you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

7. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. 8. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (HTTPS, access controls, vendor due diligence) to protect data we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
